Jess Barkhan
Founder/Breathwork Instructor
Growing up, I struggled with anxiety, depression, emotional pain, and a deep sense of disconnection from myself. I often felt lost, unsure where I belonged or how to navigate the inner battles I was facing.
After leaving school in Year 10 without direction, those unresolved struggles led me down a path of addiction, self-destruction, and escapism. Drugs became a way to numb the pain I didn't yet know how to process.
Yet beneath it all was a deeper longing — a search for peace, truth, meaning, and genuine healing.
At 21, my life began to change through profound experiences in meditation that opened the door to self-inquiry and transformation. I immersed myself in meditation, breathwork, nervous system regulation, embodiment practices, and Eastern yogic and spiritual traditions.
Breathwork, in particular, became one of the most powerful tools in my healing journey. It helped me process emotions, regulate my nervous system, reconnect with my body, and cultivate greater clarity, presence, and inner peace.
Today, I support others through trauma-informed breathwork and meditation practices focused on nervous system healing, emotional wellbeing, and embodied transformation. My intention is to help people reconnect with themselves, release stress and emotional burdens, and develop the capacity for greater presence, resilience, and inner peace.
